<\/p>\nBeyond the greenery of our park, the Euganean Hills form a succession of gentle, unmistakable silhouettes on the horizon. These volcanic hills emerged from the plain millions of years ago and gradually became a landscape of forests, vineyards, villages and historic architecture.<\/p>\n
We see them every day from Hotel Tritone. Yet there is another way to discover them: by slowly following their perimeter, accompanied by the steady rhythm of a bicycle and by the changing scenery of waterways, countryside and history.<\/p>\n
The Euganean Hills Cycle Ring extends for approximately 63 kilometres around the Regional Park. The route largely follows embankments, canals and level cycle paths, with only one short incline near Bastia di Rovolon.<\/p>\n
It is not a route reserved for highly trained cyclists. It can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace, allowing the landscape itself to set the rhythm: one pedal stroke after another, without haste and with time to notice what would normally pass unnoticed at the edge of your vision.<\/p>\n
Water accompanies much of the journey. Canals flow on one side, while cultivated fields, rows of vines, meadows and wooded slopes alternate on the other. The Hills always remain close by, silent presences accompanying the journey without ever dominating it.<\/p>\n
From the Euganean Thermal Baths, the route leads towards Battaglia, a village that developed along the waterways which, for centuries, connected this area with Padua and the Venetian Lagoon. A little further on, Catajo Castle rises at the foot of the hill with its imposing and theatrical architecture.<\/p>\n
The route then continues towards Monselice, recognisable by the profile of its Rocca, its Castle and the ascent leading to the Sanctuary of the Seven Churches. In Este, by contrast, the towers of the Carrarese Castle and the surrounding walls evoke the town\u2019s medieval past.<\/p>\n

As the journey continues, the landscape opens onto the more intimate, agricultural character of the Hills. In Vo\u2019 Vecchio, the vineyards follow the contours of the volcanic soil; near Frassanelle, meadows and woods offer broad and peaceful views.<\/p>\n
Before the Ring closes, Praglia Abbey comes into sight. Set at the foot of Monte Lonzina, with its cloisters and harmonious proportions, it seems to belong naturally to the landscape surrounding it.<\/p>\n
(Some places can simply be visited. Others can only truly be understood when we choose to slow down.)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Completing the entire Ring takes approximately four hours, to which you may add the time spent pausing, admiring unexpected views and stopping wherever you choose along the way.<\/p>\n On returning to the hotel, the pleasant tiredness of the ride meets the warmth of the thermal water. Immersing yourself in our pools allows the body to gradually regain its lightness, while the images gathered along the route continue to linger in your thoughts.<\/p>\n This sense of continuity lies at the very heart of the Euganean Thermal Baths: outside, a land shaped by ancient volcanic origins; at Hotel Tritone, water that rises from the depths of that same land, warm and ready to welcome you.<\/p>\n The journey therefore does not end when you get off your bicycle.
