From the attention devoted to each Guest to our responsibility towards the local area<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

There are details that catch the eye, and others that, precisely because they have been considered with such care, almost disappear.<\/p>\n

In hospitality, it is often the latter that best express the quality of our work.<\/p>\n

A room prepared with precision. A preference remembered. A setting arranged exactly as it should be. A gesture made at just the right moment. These are seemingly small attentions which, taken together, give the Guest something far greater: the feeling of being expected<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I believe that the most authentic form of luxury lies here, too. Not necessarily in what is displayed, but in the natural ease with which everything seems to be exactly where it belongs. Yet behind that sense of effortlessness lie method, experience, attentiveness and the daily work of many people.<\/p>\n

Over the years, I have come to understand ever more clearly that this idea of care does not end at the threshold of a room, nor within the walls of a hotel.<\/p>\n

As President of Federalberghi Terme, Abano e Montegrotto, I consider particularly significant the study promoted by the Association and entrusted to CISET (International Centre of Studies on the Tourism Economy, founded by Ca\u2019 Foscari University of Venice and the Veneto Region) on the economic role of the Euganean Thermal Hospitality System. The figures reveal the scale of a sector that accounts for approximately half of the accommodation capacity and tourist flows of the entire Province of Padua. Yet there is another figure, perhaps less immediately apparent, that I find even more telling: a large share of the value generated by our businesses remains close to home.<\/p>\n

The mapping carried out reveals a supply chain deeply rooted in the local area: approximately 70% of the payments analysed are made to suppliers based in the Province of Padua, while almost 86% remain within the Veneto Region, with suppliers located at an average distance of just 41 kilometres.<\/p>\n

These figures, in my view, speak above all of relationships<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Behind a beautifully laid table, a perfectly prepared room, a renovated space or a service that operates with discretion lies a system made up of producers, artisans, technicians, professionals, cleaning and maintenance companies, food businesses, technological expertise and people who share with us part of the responsibility for hospitality.<\/p>\n

Seen from this perspective, even the smallest detail ceases to be small.<\/p>\n

Caring for the Guest therefore also means choosing carefully, investing, training, innovating and building relationships designed to last.<\/span> It means understanding that the quality of a hotel does not create value only within its own walls: it can foster skills, employment and development all around it.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the study entrusts us with a responsibility for the future. Our local network can become even stronger, opening itself more fully to culture, research, education and the many outstanding qualities that surround the Euganean Thermal Basin. Because the thermal spa tradition is not a world separate from its territory: it is one of its deepest expressions.<\/p>\n

And perhaps this, today, is one of the fullest meanings of the word care<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Because caring means paying attention to what lies before our eyes but, even more importantly, knowing how to recognise everything that lies behind it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
