Our park has often been described as an oasis of wellbeing, but it is only when you go beyond the outdoor pools and beyond the more familiar corners that you discover a real world of wellbeing<\/strong>.\u00a0 It covers an area of approximately 30,000 square metres<\/strong> and includes special tree species, with long-lived specimens that over the years have enlivened the stay of many guests at Hotel Tritone.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Changing with nature, respecting it with perseverance<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The values on which our hotel is based include respect <\/strong>and protection of nature<\/strong>.
\nFor this reason, we have maintained the green area every year with an important objective: to preserve the existing flower and plant heritage.
\nAll the improvements to the hotel structure were carried out protecting every species<\/strong> present and this was possible thanks to the profound knowledge and sensitivity of Pamela Nichele<\/strong>, a landscape architect from Padua who has supported the management over time in this delicate task.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2011: Protecting the majestic Pinus Pinea<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At the same time as the breakfast pavilion was built and the entrance to the hotel was redesigned, the garden was upgraded.<\/p>\n

The monumental pine tree at the entrance <\/strong>\u00a0was saved and still stands proudly and regally in front of the hotel’s main fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n

Many plants were rescued with an innovative piece of equipment<\/strong> that allowed them to be dug up without damaging their roots.<\/p>\n

In addition, agreen embrace<\/strong> of hedges and shrubs has been created right in the entrance area, as if to herald the green world that awaits the guest upon entering.<\/p>\n

2014-2016: the biolago is born<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The purchase of the former Hotel Millefiori<\/strong> is part of the Tritone’s history, also narrated by General Manager Walter Poli in a recent interview<\/a>. It was during this period that the park was extended to include today’s area.<\/p>\n

Together with the creation of new scenes <\/strong>with rose hedges and expanses of shrubs, the biolago<\/strong> was created, which is now fundamental to our garden. This stretch of water has not only an aesthetic and recreational function but is a real water reservoir to supply the irrigation system. This allows us to save on the use of irrigation water<\/strong>: rainwater is collected in underground cisterns, filtered and then used for the bio-lake and for watering the park.<\/p>\n

2017: rooftop gardens and statues from South America<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The improvement of all the hotel’s roofs was an opportunity to cover them with greenery and nature. So today, from the top of our panoramic lift you can see other gardens<\/strong>: expanses of grass that look like huge carpets and shrubs sprouting in clumps.<\/p>\n

In the park, on the other hand, new species have found their place together with some South American statues<\/strong> wanted by Walter Poli for their significance: to be a good omen for the guests.<\/p>\n

Long-lived specimens of olive <\/strong>trees, elms and plane trees have also been preserved; the latter now form a delightful little wood in which to find refuge on hot days.<\/p>\n

2018: new species in the park<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With the creation of the car parks, new beds<\/strong> have also sprung up, some classic with boxwood and cypress, others coloured with red maple and still others perfumed and aromatic (we have also discussed this in the article on flowers and plants in the garden<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Finally, on the roofs of the new spa, Asian palms<\/strong> have found their place, which enjoy an ideal climate here thanks to the warmth of the thermal waters.<\/p>\n
