We enjoy chatting with our guests to put them at ease when they arrive and make them feel at home. The dialogue is continued throughout the stay so can know how our guests are doing and be available for every request: we strive to improve the Hotel Tritone experience. <\/span>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0We capture some of our conversations in a column on this blog: “A word from the Guests of Hotel Tritone.” Following the first two interviews we published with <\/span>\u00a0Alfredo Sudati<\/a>, and with <\/span>\u00a0and <\/span>\u00a0Luigi Fossa and Francesca Ponghellini,<\/span><\/a> here is that of Monika Kofler.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Could you tell us about yourself?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I have now retired <\/span>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0but I once worked in the office of a company that dealt with the importation of meat and livestock. It was later closed when the borders opened.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am <\/span>\u00a0mother of two <\/b>\u00a0sons born 16 months apart. I stopped working after my pregnancies, but in hindsight, I should have continued. Anyway, I have found things to do, and I am satisfied because my children have become very good men.<\/span><\/p>\n

One lives in Verona and is the father of my grandson, the other lives in South Tyrol. They both came to see me at Hotel Tritone when <\/span>\u00a0I turned 70 <\/b>\u00a0during a stay here.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What kind of trip or holiday do you prefer?<\/b><\/h3>\n

When we come to Abano Terme <\/span>\u00a0we recharge our batteries and relax. <\/b>\u00a0When I’m at home I can’t sit still, I work a lot: I’m like a moped!<\/span><\/p>\n

Some jobs could also be done by my husband, but he is very lazy. He is now retired and was previously an insurance agent.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Who do you travel with?<\/b><\/h3>\n

It is usually the two of us, my husband and I, who travel together. I have travelled with other people, but only on very short trips.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How long have you been coming to Tritone?<\/b><\/h3>\n

We have been coming to Hotel Tritone <\/span>\u00a0since 2010 or 2012 <\/b>\u00a0(I don’t remember exactly). We had been coming to Abano before that though.<\/span><\/p>\n

At that time we could take holidays only at the last moment, and it was difficult to book here; everything became easier when we were able to plan ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

Do you come here for the therapeutic treatments?<\/b><\/h3>\n

We are too lazy even for treatments! Seriously, we come here only for complete relaxation.<\/span><\/p>\n

We don’t need mud therapy at the moment, and having the other treatments would still require a \u201ccommitment.\u201d <\/span>\u00a0We relax a lot <\/b>\u00a0and at most I indulge in manicures, pedicures, and foot reflexology massages.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

How long do you stay?<\/b><\/h3>\n

4\/5 days, and we come here several times a year, even often.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What do you enjoy most?<\/b><\/h3>\n

The <\/span>\u00a0swimming pool!<\/b> We spend a lot of time at the pool.<\/span><\/p>\n

My husband takes pleasant walks because he needs them.<\/span><\/p>\n

We used to visit the wine cellars.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What about the SPA?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I can’t do the sauna and I can’t stand it. The soft sauna is better, and my husband does it now and then. The experience on the heated beds in the <\/span>\u00a0Pink salt room <\/b>\u00a0is very nice: it is a novelty that I enjoyed.<\/span><\/p>\n

What about the cuisine?<\/b><\/h3>\n

The very first cook had seemed exceptional to us. Then there was a period of changes whose developments we awaited. We are back now, and we were <\/span>\u00a0pleasantly surprised at <\/b>\u00a0the clearly noticeable high standards and level of quality. My husband was amazed by it too.<\/span><\/p>\n

How about the territory?<\/b><\/h3>\n

We used to go on day trips, but if we are not staying long, or if it is raining, that doesn’t appeal to us. We should see the castles around here, further on.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who do you know best at Hotel Tritone?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Sono tutti molto professionali e la confidenza resta sempre sul giusto confine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Siamo entrati pi\u00f9 in relazione con il sig. <\/span>Stefano <\/b>in sala, il sig. <\/span>Luca <\/b>e il sig. <\/span>Tiziano<\/b>. A suo tempo anche con il sig. Pierluigi e il sig. Dario, che ora lavora nelle nostre zone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which are your best memories of Tritone?<\/b><\/h3>\n

In particular, I find the <\/span>\u00a0surprise <\/b>\u00a0of cake and bottle of prosecco ( <\/span>\u00a0one of our Wow Experience services <\/span><\/a>, ed) very nice. Overall, I appreciate the kindness, respectfulness, politeness, and cleanliness. We think Hotel Tritone has long been worthy of five stars.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2017, I invited our 2 children to join us here with their companions, for our <\/span>\u00a040th wedding anniversary.<\/b> They were with us for a couple of days, and it is a lovely memory.<\/span><\/p>\n
