Following the interview with our housekeeper <\/span>\u00a0Lisa, <\/span><\/a>\u00a0we continue our series on the stories and experiences of each member of staff at Hotel Tritone. It’s Anila’s <\/span>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0turn: responsible for the wellness, care and spa area, Anila is certainly <\/span>\u00a0one of the pillars of the Hotel.<\/b> This is not only because she manages a facility that is dedicated to wellness, but also because of the many years of work she has put in here at the Tritone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Anila, please introduce yourself for those who don’t know you.<\/b><\/h3>\n

My name is Anila, I am 43 years old and I come from Albania. I have lived in Italy for 24 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Could you tell us your story?<\/b><\/h3>\n

After graduating from high school in my country, I started a degree course in <\/span>\u00a0foreign languages and literature – but I had to <\/b>\u00a0leave the course due to the economic crisis that existed in Albania at that time. I left my country in 1998 and <\/span>\u00a0started working at Hotel Tritone in 2000.\u00a0 <\/b>\u00a0I started off as a waitress, then moved on to the bar, and finally took on my current role as <\/span>\u00a0Spa Manager <\/b>\u00a0six years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

What are the main duties in your role?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I am the manager of the Spa and the care, aesthetics, and well-being department. I coordinate all those <\/span>\u00a0who <\/b>\u00a0work in these areas. I take care – from an organizational point of view – of everything concerning each <\/span>\u00a0treatment <\/b>\u00a0offered by the Hotel. I also follow up on the guest from the end of their visit with the Thermal Physician through the entire <\/span>\u00a0treatment <\/b>\u00a0they take in each department, responding to all their requests and needs. It takes a lot of empathy at this stage, to accompany the guest along the path of treatment recommended by the Doctor, and in the other wellness experiences offered by the Hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, like some of my colleagues, I also attended first aid and fire prevention courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How long have you worked at Tritone?<\/b><\/h3>\n

For <\/span>\u00a022 years, <\/b>\u00a0so I can say that I grew up with the Hotel! I am really happy to be part of this team because we are all very professional and good at what we do. Also, I have to thank the Poli family for their <\/span>\u00a0trust <\/b>\u00a0in me over all these years.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What do you like most about your work?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I love my work, even to the extreme. I like to establish a relationship with guests, so they will be happy <\/span>\u00a0with the experiences they have in the <\/b>\u00a0department. When they come to greet me before going home, and I see they are happy, that’s it: that’s when I am proud of my work. And then when I also see that <\/span>\u00a0the guest comes back and <\/b>\u00a0is happy to be here again.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among your duties and activities, what are the details that make the customer experience a special one?<\/b><\/h3>\n

The <\/span>\u00a0creation of a care programme <\/b>\u00a0is what makes the experience in this department special. I make sure returning guests have a programme ready of what they like to do and what is good for them according to the recommendations of the Thermal Doctor. With new clients, I try to do my best to make them happy and offer them what they want.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

If you were to describe Tritone in one word, what would it be?<\/b><\/h3>\n

One word is not enough, I don’t think! It is certainly <\/span>\u00a0unique. <\/b>\u00a0but I would define it as a “luxury experience of excellence” because once a person tries it, they can no longer do without it.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What do you like doing in your free time?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I take care of my <\/span>\u00a0family <\/b>: I have two children aged 20 and 15. It can be said that they too grew up with the Tritone. Also, in my spare time <\/span>\u00a0I update myself <\/b>\u00a0on everything related to my work. I continue to study the languages I have always liked and I keep up to date on everything related to well-being: that way I can offer guests an experience that is always in step with the times.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If one day you were a client at the Tritone, which service\/treatment would you try first?<\/b><\/h3>\n

I would try all the treatments! As Spa Manager, I really don’t know of one that I would prefer over the others. I would also visit all the rooms at the <\/span>\u00a0Arqu\u00e0 Petrarca Spa. <\/span><\/a>\u00a0Perhaps my favourite place would be the <\/span>\u00a0swimming pool <\/b>\u00a0with its warm thermal waters.<\/span><\/p>\n
