Tropical Pool: a corner of paradise in the park of Hotel Tritone

The project became a reality on 15th June 2023: the new outdoor swimming pool was opened with thermal water from the Abano and Montegrotto basin. Guests who have stayed in the hotel since the inauguration have already been able to enjoy this new space which occupies an area of 650 square metres and contains 780 cubic metres of thermal water.

The large body of water is connected to the outdoor and indoor pools by a swimming path and the new tropical bridges. Everything is masterfully set in the lush tropical park with 40 palm trees which used to be in other areas of the hotel and have been purposely relocated around the pool, thanks to a green management project which involved and will involve the  planting of numerous other essences  throughout the relevant area. 

New wellness experiences

Each area of the Tropical Pool is designed to offer new wellness experiences, so that everyone can find and choose their own corner of paradise. 

The Love Dream gazebos are double beds where you can share relaxation with another person. Surrounding the entire perimeter of the pool are ten sunbathing areas with two sunbeds and umbrellas and direct access to the pool. 

The large 12-seat raised hydromassage tub and the 9 hydromassage stations on the pool level are the spaces where you can indulge in the anti-stress and relaxing action of the thermal water and the bubbles. For people who suffer from neck problems, two cervical jets are available for a gentle relaxing massage. 

The southwest wing of the swimming pool also hides some surprises, where a fun geyser blows its hot jet, amusing the unsuspecting bathers. 

People who love sunbathing on the water’s edge can take advantage of the chaises longues on the water’s edge, which can be adjusted to suit you. 

And here there’s also the terrace with sofas and armchairs, the ideal place for a snack or a fun aperitif with friends, served from the nearby Tropical Bar. 

Tropical Bar: sip a cocktail while immersed in the water

Like a splendid island in the coral reef, the Tropical Bar emerges from the waters of the pool, a refreshment point which is fully equipped to respond to any type of request from our guests.

The stools immersed in front of the bar are the most popular places to have a drink or a coffee. The music and the big screens cheer up the patrons of the bar, who, looking around, could – not unreasonably – believe that they’re in a remote atoll of Polynesia or the Caribbean.
