Walter Poli and his Porsches: an endless love story
Once again, the link that unites Hotel Tritone with the Porsche brand and the Porsche Center in Padua has been renewed.
We have already included the special experiences offered exclusively to those staying at our hotel: the test drive, the columns for electric car charging, and the selection of Porsche products in our boutique.
In addition to all this, we have a surprise for all lovers of these fantastic cars.
A short film with Walter Poli
Our General Manager featured in a short movie made by the Porsche Center in Padua. To make this possible, we opened the doors of Hotel Tritone to the staff of the car showroom.
From an interesting interview, a story was told of a love that has no end, a classic story that actually features Walter Poli and his Porsches.
From a toy model to a sports car: thirty years on four-wheels
“For me,” says Walter Poli, “the Porsche brand is a synthesis of characteristics that reflect my way of being and, above all, my perception of what a car should be: sporty, high-performance, and elegant.”
The passion for this brand was born from a toy model, a small Porsche tractor. How the real counterpart got into our General Manager’s garage is revealed in the short film.
During the interview we find out about all the Porsche cars that Walter Poli has owned previously, and about those he owns now. He fell in love with this brand at first sight, and loves it to this day.
The Oscar-winning performance of the Porsche 993 Turbo
This is the car that Walter dedicates the most space to in his interview, and it is this car that he drives along the winding roads of the Euganean Hills.
Owning a fine, classic car is like travelling through time, experiencing all the indescribable emotions that these wonderful vehicles can give.
They have been captured in this video that was taken before a curve, highlighting that unmistakeable revving sound.
