Pictures at Hotel Tritone: observe the world without frames
As our guests know, Hotel Tritone is renewed every year: change is pure dynamism, just like innovation and revolution. In this blog we have already talked about external features, particularly the new terraces, and the new philosophy behind our gourmet cuisine.
Now it’s time to talk about an internal improvement: the one that concerns all the floors of our hotel, including rooms and corridors. Pictures have taken the stage in all these environments.
The choices of pictures, as with all changes at our hotel, were not accidental. The selection of the new pictures was carried out rigorously, in order to create a common theme for each floor.
This year we have done away with frames; modern subjects and techniques in contemporary and three-dimensional painting have appeared – including the use of alternative materials such as wood and metals.
Sixth floor: music
Guitars, saxophones and cellos; the piano resounds with shapes and vibrant colours; singers give voice to the greatest jazz hits.
Fifth floor: trees
Golden leaves, ruby-coloured foliage, and branches with ethereal reflections like moonstone. The shades of the paintings are unusual but are as vivid and spectacular as those on real trees.
Fourth floor: women
Some of the most mysterious and fascinating female characters are represented in the corridors and bedrooms of the fourth floor. Looking at their wonderful garments one can almost feel the breeze and understand the thoughts of these women.
Third floor: the sea
The love for the sea that distinguishes the history of the Poli family is represented on the third floor. Just choose your favourite sailboat or lighthouse and let yourself be carried away by the sea breeze.
Second floor: abstract
Looking at the paintings on the second floor, we are faced with innumerable possible interpretations. Lines, shapes and colours represent a unique inner and intimate reality.
First floor: variety
Surprise reigns supreme here: there is not just one theme but many. Walking through the corridors becomes an almost playful experience in search of your favourite subject or, who knows, a fil rouge that has not yet been revealed.
