More wellness and fun with bike tours from Hotel Tritone

On holiday, there is a fun and versatile physical activity that also has health benefits, because it is good for the heart, lowers blood pressure and helps eliminate fat. Cycling is a cure-all that is recommended for everyone, and therefore also ideal for guests of Hotel Tritone.

BIKES AT HOTEL TRITONE

All guests can bring their own bicycles from home and use them for short trips or excursions. For those who, on the other hand, prefer the convenience of finding bicycles directly at the Hotel, it is possible to rent e-bikes, city bikes or mountain bikes, depending on the route you want to take and the type of activity you are already used to.

The Bike Experience at Hotel Tritone includes bike rental (for the whole day or only half a day), use of the reserved garage in the hotel and digital map support for excursions. All Guests who wish to do so can always ask the reception staff for directions.

There is also a basic bike maintenance area, accessible to all Guests. Here, it is possible to pump up tyres, wash your bike or adjust certain parts such as the saddle or handlebars.

RECOMMENDED ROUTES IN THE EUGANEAN HILLS

The Euganean Hills, recognised in July 2024 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offer a multitude of cycling routes, regardless of age and training. The important thing is the constant desire to discover the area, the glimpses of the villages among the vineyards and the historical and artistic beauty of the hills. Here are some tips.

The bicycle can be the ideal means of transport for discovering the archaeological area of the Roman baths and, in the meantime, admiring the beauty of the Monteortone sanctuary, taking a break at the San Daniele monastery and visiting Villa Draghi.

On two wheels you can explore Arquà Petrarca, the village where the poet Francesco Petrarca lived and which gives its name to Hotel Tritone Spa.

From Abano Terme, by bicycle, it is also possible to reach Monselice, along the Battaglia canal cycle path. Once in Monselice, you can stop and visit the iconic Rocca, which can be seen on the hilltop.

For those who want to visit the most mystical places in the Euganean Hills, the best cycling route may be the Cycling Tour of the Sanctuaries. Other stops include Praglia Abbey, with its splendid staircase and interesting cloisters and historic library.

Finally, the most famous and one of the longest routes to take by bike is certainly the Euganean Hills Ring, which allows you to unite all the wonders of this area, rich in history and culture, in a single trip.
